WORLD MARROW DONOR DAY, DRIVE 2

In the enthusiasm of World Marrow Donor Month, Jeevandayini Social Foundation & Dr O P Bhalla Foundation conducted a Bone Marrow Stem Cell Donor Registration Drive on 16 Sept’19 at Manav Rachna Educational Institutions, Faridabad in collaboration with Gene Bandhu Registry. The day was marked by our youth who participated with great fervour and zeal at the campus premises.

Whopping 120 exuberant students of all streams, faculty & administration members came forward to take the buccal swab and empowered themselves to become a Stem Cell Donor .

We were encouraged by Sh Vipul Goel, Honourable Chief Guest
who is currently heading Industry & Commerce Ministry at Haryana Government. He appreciated our initiatives in the fight against blood disorders and was glad to see young generation registering themselves in large numbers for the noble cause. Dr Prashant Bhalla, Chancellor, Manav Rachna Educational Institutions explained how Jeevandayini and Manav Rachna Educational Institutions are leading the cause for last 4 years to increase significantly the chances of saving many lives. He also motivated the students to be enlightened youth of the nation and never let this spirit weaken.

The campaign was a great success due to the combined efforts of both Manav Rachna faculty and Jeevandayini comrades.
