Product Description

Between September 20th and 22nd, in Bucharest and 15 other towns in Romania, it is scheduled the seventh edition of the “Give a chance to life!” campaign, a public interest event supported by the Ministry of Health.
The purpose of this year’s campaign is to bring to the public’s attention and raise awareness on the importance of enrolling in RNDVCSH. Any healthy person between the ages of 18 and 45 can be a potential donor and can save the life of a patient diagnosed with a serious blood disease that has no treatment.
In Bucharest, near the city center in the Union’s Park, a series of events will be organized in partnership with the Administration of Hospitals and Medical Services of Bucharest, professional organizations and civil society organizations that carry out activities in this field.
Advertising tents and a plasma screen will be installed and educational films will be projected.
On September 20th, a press conference is scheduled. With this occasion a book with stories about patients, donors and volunteers, helping to increase the registered donor’s number, will be launched.

On the evening of September 21, 2019, we will celebrate World Marrow Donor Day with messages of gratitude for the already registered donors, as well as the importance of active involvement in increasing the number of registered Romanian donors.
The fountains from the Union Park will be illuminated in the WMDD colours.
