This is the message of “ORAMA ELPIDAS” Bone Marrow Donor Center and Hellenic Olympic Winners Association for World Marrow Donor Day. Several athletic events and a symbolic “marathon” race with children hospitalized and Hellenic Olympic Winners took place in the yard of the Oncology Unit “Marianna V. Vardinoyannis – Elpida” sending the message that cancer can be beat. At the end of the race, Olympic Winners became volunteer bone marrow donors!
