Product Description

Last year, Singapore BMDP did a stunt on World Marrow Donor Day to raise public awareness on the BMDP’s cause. Fifty (50) statues took over Orchard Road, representing the life of blood disease patients who are “frozen” in time as they wait for their last hope to survive. The event created a stir along the streets of Orchard Road with Minister K. Shanmugam to add to the fanfare.
This year, Singapore BMDP is bringing it back BIGGER, LOUDER than before and THEY NEED YOU! Help to educate the public on Singapore BMDP’s life-saving mission and most importantly, what you do, WILL help save a life in the future. Join this year!

When: 17 September 2016, Saturday
Where: Island Wide
What: World Marrow Donor Day 2016 – When The World Stops
VIP: Minister K. Shanmugam

Singapore BMDP needs 1,000 volunteers to take over the island! So this is what you need to do. Simply choose to be:
– A statue – to represent patients with terminal blood diseases, whose lives are at a standstill as they wait for a matching donor OR
– A minder – to articulate our story, voice our cause and educate the public. Come as an individual or better still, get your friends and trooper on, the more the merrier!

So there, sounds easy? We bet you it’ll be fun too. Join us and make an impact. Who knows? You could be saving the life of someone you know.
