ABOUT PUTT AWAY CANCER
Putt Away Cancer seeks to build a unique community of support to take a united stand against Cancer. They call it the Circle of Hope. This year Putt Away Cancer has partnered with the GenCure Marrow Donor Program and continues its annual scholarship fundraiser on World Marrow Donor Day Sunday Sept. 17th 2016. Funds raised will support a scholarship fund for cancer patients and the GenCure Marrow Donor Program to help raise awareness about the cure in you! ALL cancer patients are eligible to apply for the scholarship.

OUR CAUSE:
In addition to the annual scholarship fund, this year’s event will also benefit the GenCure Marrow Donor Program in partnership with Be The Match®. Net proceeds will support the donor commitment and education program, an initiative designed to increase donor availability rates in central and south Texas.

Nationally, 50% of registry members will follow through when contacted as a possible match for a patient. Sadly, less than 40% of donors in our local community will commit to a donation.

From the first cheek swab at registration to the donation bed, we are committed to helping donors fully understand the importance of what they have committed to and how they can save a life.

Registration begins at 7 a.m.
Tournament first round: 8 a.m.
Registration Fee: $10
