DONOR CENTER IN ALEGRETE – RIO GRANDE DO SUL, BRAZIL

In order to raise the awareness of more than 4,000,000 brazilian donors, the Bone Marrow Donor Registry (REDOME) organized a contest between the donors centers in the whole national territory.

The criteria for the evaluation were:

1) Loyalty of donors to be registered (routine or specific campaigns) and dissemination of the activities of the WMDD.

2) Awareness of the REDOME participation in the worldwide network of bone marrow donors (26,000,000 donors worldwide). Focusing on international cooperation.

3) The donor center should warn REDOME to inform the actions that will be carried out and send pictures of this activities.

4) The donor center must work a lot on social media and encourage the donors also using the hashtags : #WMDD #WMDD2016 #thankyoudonor #REDOME.
