Become a marrow donor – Central

Rusfond, Russian charity foundation, along with the Research Institute for Pediatric Oncology, Hematology and Transplantology named after R.M. Gorbacheva arranges an event to recruit more potential marrow donors for the Vasya Perevoschikov’s National Marrow Donors’ Register. Anyone aged between 18 and 45 who is willing to participate can visit the Research Institute and submit 9ml of his or her vein blood to a tissue matching procedure. The blood samples will be tested right at the Research Institute . The blood will be used to identify the unique gene composition of each potential marrow donor, and the results will be included to the National Register.
The event will take place on September 20, 2016, from 16:00 till 19:00 and on September 22, 2016, from 16:00 till 18:00.
The Research Institute address: ulitsa Rentgena 12, Saint-Petersburg, Russian Federation (Petrogradskaya station).
