Become a marrow donor – Izhevsk

Rusfond, Russian charity foundation, along with the Medical Center Lifeline (Liniya Zhizni) arranges an event to recruit more potential marrow donors for the Vasya Perevoschikov’s National Marrow Donors’ Register. Anyone aged between 18 and 45 who is willing to participate can visit the Medical Center and submit 9ml of his or her vein blood to a tissue matching procedure. The blood samples will travel to St. Petersburg, to the Research Institute for Pediatric Oncology, Hematology and Transplantology named after R.M. Gorbacheva. The blood samples will be used to identify the unique gene composition of each potential marrow donor, and the results will be included to the National Register.
The event will take place on September 16, 2016.
Medical Center address: ulitsa Sovkhoznaya 1a, Izhevsk, Russian Federation.
The blood sample may be taken throughout Medical Center working hours.
